Cycling, Kayaking, Stand Up Paddling are all leisure sports that can be combined to a cruise experience. Scuba diving and seaplane tours will add just another touch of adventure to your day. Make sure that arrangements have been confirmed with Océane's office and get ready for a great experience.

Kayaking

The comfort of the catamarans are particularly appealing, but if you would like to challenge your own navigating and physical abilities, try the kayaks or the stand-up paddle. Our Océane boats partners with Otentik to offer a thrilling experience through the mangroves at ilôt Mangénie. Glide right on the water surface, feel your senses enhanced: the wave lets lapping against your boat, the sea spray hitting your face and the engulfing blueand-green of the ocean around you...You can also paddle upstream on Grand River South East to the waterfall amidst the lush vegetation. A simple activity, yet one that will bring you closer to the little piece of heaven Océane strives to share with you.

Scubadiving

Situated at the south of the Indian Ocean, the island is blessed with a relatively stable climate. The local dive sites thus offer incredible variety where the fauna and flora are concerned. Mauritius' East Coast is bordered by a stunning lagoon and its passes into the open sea attract various pelagic species. Dive in some of the healthiest and most colourful spots with experienced local divers who will take you to the best diving spots in the area. This might be your chance to discover sights like The Japanese Garden, Aquarium, The Castle, Sea Fan Forest, Long Cliff, Sea Fan Valley and others...

For Océane's clients, Ben offers a tailor-made exploration dive with personalized service, performed in small or exclusive groups only and offering an exceptional selection of dive sites that will leave you with unforgettable memories.

Seaplane touring

Take in the splendid bird's eye view over the immense lagoon stretching along the north and eastern coast. Thanks to our partner Island Wings, you can climb into their X-Air, the perfect amphibian seaplane to fly over the turquoise waters and enjoy the blue and golden landscape unfolding under your eyes. Bruno and Gaëtan suggest that you take advantage of the tours on offer, whether "Albatross", a 25 minutes-fly over land and sea on the North East coast, or "Corbijeau" a 1 hour-outing to discover some of the most beautiful lagoons of the island – going through RochesNoires, and all the way down to Ile aux Cerfs.

Cycling

Discover the inland corners of Trou d'Eau Douce and its surrounding villages on a bicycle. A clique of adventurers sets out on the winding roads of the East while the rest opt for the laid-back cruise in the crystalline lagoon. Exchange blue waters and sunshine for the lush vegetation that leads to the Grande Rivière Sud Est (GRSE) river, where you will join the catamaran for the rest of your sun-filled, relaxing day of snorkelling and tanning at Ile aux Cerfs.

Stand-Up Paddleboarding

The sheltered lagoon of Trou d'Eau Douce offers ideal conditions to try your hand at the newly popular sport of Stand Up Paddle. In the lagoon or near Ile aux Cerfs, pull yourself up on the large boards provided by the crew and find yourself floating over translucent waters and occasional patch coral, where numerous small fish in all colours are visible through the surface. Or try surfing on the inner reef and wavelets at Ile aux Flamants. You will feel alone in the world on a paradisiac beach of your own…All within the crew's safe line of sight, of course.
